Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions Answered

Do you take insurance? Which ones? How do I get reimbursed?
At this time we are in the processing of being credentialed with the following insurances: Medicare & Medicaid, Mercy, Dean, Quartz, Alliance, and BCBS/Anthem. We cannot bill your insurance until we get a start date from an insurance company to start billing them for services rendered.

How do I access your office? Is there parking?
Currently, the office address is at the same location as Paull Chiropractic Family Wellness Center, in Janesville, WI. This is where the owner, Michelle Scott, has her in-person office and runs the business from until another facility is opened! Services with all other providers will remain via telehealth until that happens.

Do I really need therapy?
Let's decide that together! If what you’re experiencing now has been bothering you for at least a few months, it’s time to talk about it. If everything you’ve tried on your own isn’t making it subside, it’s time to talk about it. I want to make sure therapy is a good fit for you just as much as you do.

What are your fees?
Same-Day Cash Rates:
Intake is $175
Regular session is $150

Can we do video calls or phone calls instead of me coming to your office? OR Do you also accept people in your office, or are you video-based only?
Most providers prefer to meet with you face to face in the office. There’s more power in showing up somewhere for yourself than just facing a screen. However, during our growth stage of our business, at this time telehealth sessions are only what is available. On the rare occasion technology decides to crash, we can have a phone session.

What if I can't come to a session?
As soon as you know you cannot make it, please message your provider so they are aware and can try to fill that time. You can either reschedule for another time that week, or wait until the following week. Should attendance become a problem, we will address that together on whether or not therapy is something you can commit to at this time in your life. We do have a no-show fee for the regular cash rate of $150. You will get a courtesy first time reminder about it, and after that, any no-show or late cancellation under 24 hours notice will be charged to the card you have on your account.

How do we start the process?
We’ll start with a quick consult to make sure we’re a good fit for each other. If we are, then we’ll get you scheduled for an “Intake session” and I will send you some paperwork to fill out ahead of time. At your Intake session, we’ll review what you filled out on your paperwork, logistics, payment if we haven’t done so yet, and set up some goals for us to work on together.

Is therapy confidential?
Therapy is confidential, however, there are instances when a therapist can choose to break it. These instances would involve things like suicide, homicide, or abuse. Therapist are considered “mandated reporters” and are ethically bound to report this in order to keep you safe, as well as the people around you safe.
Other instances may involve court cases. We need a subpoena to release any records. Another instance might involve case consultation with others in our field. Case consultation happens when a therapist seeks guidance from another on how to best help a client when the therapist feels “stuck” and needs another set of eyes to help a client continue to make progress. No identifying demographic information is shared in such an instance. Thus, who you are will remain anonymous.

Is there documentation I need to fill out before we begin?
Yes! You will get an email with an Intake form and several assessments to fill out. This gives your therapist an idea of what is going on before you even walk into the room for the first time. It will help to guide your initial session so your therapist can gather as much data as possible. This is what helps to create appropriate goals for a treatment plan for you.

How do I know you’re the best choice for me?
If you’ve read through our website and gotten to know us and who we work best with, you should have a pretty good idea if we're the therapists for you. Our clients tell us they do a lot of research before they find us – so make sure you do the same. If you’re still not sure, let’s have a quick chat and talk about those concerns before you commit to anything.
